Tournament Format & Rules
Tournament Format
- Teams: 7 teams, Round Robin Format (Each team plays against every other team once).
- Players per Team: 6 players.
- Match Type: Each match consists of two innings per team.
- Overs per Innings: 10 overs per innings.
- Total Overs per Match: 40 (10 × 2 innings per team).
- Wickets per Innings: 5 wickets.
Match Rules
Batting Rules
- Each team plays two innings in a match.
- A batsman must continue until they are out.
- Once 5 wickets fall, the innings ends.
Bowling Rules
- Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs per innings.
- If the bowler’s and batsman’s numbers match, the batsman is out.
- No bowler can bowl consecutive overs in an innings.
Adjustments for Player Shortages
Wicket Reduction
- 6 players = 5 wickets
- 5 players = 4 wickets
- 4 players = 3 wickets
- 3 players = 2 wickets
Bowling Adjustments
- 6 players = 2 overs max per player
- 5 players = 2 overs each
- 4 players = 2 bowler 2 over 2 bowler 3 over
- 3 players = 2 bowler 3 overs 1 bowler 4 over (per innings)
Points System
- Win = 2 Points
- Loss = 0 Points
- Tie = Super Over
Playoffs
- Qualifier 1: 1st vs. 2nd – Winner to Final
- Eliminator: 3rd vs. 4th – Loser eliminated
- Qualifier 2: Loser of Q1 vs. Winner of Eliminator – Winner to Final
- Final: Winner of Q1 vs. Winner of Q2 – Champion
